Bangkok Trip Day 3

by - 01:00

Another day, another market. This time we took a cab further outside the city to the Khlong Lat Mayom Floating Market. To be honest, I only spotted a couple of actual boat hawkers at this market, so it was less a real "floating market" and more like a regular land market surrounded by canals. the most interesting part was just seeing all the residential homes that lined the canals and people just going about their everyday business.

After getting back from the market, we spend the remainder of our afternoon relaxing at our hotel pool, and then chill out at the secret garden.

With a happy pool times over, we decide to hoped a taxi  and explore to the Khao San Road.

The famous Khao San Road has become a backpacker's paradise, with cheap and friendly guest houses / hostels, street food, cafes, bars and rowdy nightclubs. It's not the real Thailand, but it's pretty much unmissable in most people's eyes because it's just such a Famous day we want a as a backpacker / traveler is here; it's a great place to party and meet fellow travellers who are usually on their way south to the islands.

▲ There are some great bars and clubs actually on Khao San Road but here are 4 more quality live music venues and clubs nearby.

▲ I know I said tickle your palate, but eating fried multi-legged creatures is not my thing at all.

To commemorate this memorable trip, I suggested Kelvin to get a tattoo before we go back to Malaysia and surprisingly he'd said "Yes" to me. We had to admit we're just too sudden to get a tattoo on us but it's really meaningful to us.

▲ Although a bit nervous, but I still able to manage the pain.

▲ Painful face* All I did is just non-stop laughing
To distract his attention so he kept on playing phone.

See you on next post...
